Arthur Raymond (Skip) Hurley was born on July 26th, 1936 in Buffalo New York. At the age of 73 he went home to be with the Lord on August 8th 2009.
Skip was a retired Corrections Officer for Cattaraugus County. He is survived by his wife, Paulette Hurley, his daughter's and son-in-laws, Suzanne Hurley, Ron and Judy Kuhaneck, Rob anq Patty Wilcox, Matt and Laurie Leblanc, Rob and Linda Gager, Robert and Vicki Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard E. Hurley and Laura I (Conklin) Hurley and his brother, Robert W. Hurley survived by his wife Bonnie Hurley.
Skip is also survived by his grandchildren. Ron, John, Rhonda, Derek, Lyndsay, Ryan, Dana Kuhaneck. Adam, Justin, Kim, Travis Bertino. Stash and Jessica Leblanc. Dominick and Dylan Anderson. Andrew and Christian Gager, and his great grandchildren. Also survived by cousins, many nieces and nephews. Skip is survived by his mother-in-law Shirley Milks. His sister and brother in laws Gene and Donna Wagoner, Jim and Gloria Wogick.
Skip was born and raised in New York and lived there until August of 1999 when he and his wife loaded up their U-Haul and moved to Orlando Florida to escape the brutal winter's of New York. He truly enjoyed the past ten years in Florida with his pool.
Skip was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He truly enjoyed going to dinner at All American, Golden Coral, Greg's Place, Cracker Barrel. He enjoyed yard sales, the flea market, Old Town, Kennedy Space Center. He truly enjoyed spending time.with his family and mends. He made sure he entertained everyone that visited. He enjoyed watching the kids spend time in his pool that he kept crystal clear for them. He is truly an amazing man and he will be truly missed and we love him very much.
