Audrey Hoinacke

September 19, 1927 — January 2, 2013

HOINACKE, AUDREY D. WILLIAMS, 85, passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2013, Orlando, FL. She was born in Selma, NC to Revus S. and Sara E. Jones. She graduated from Alexander Park High School in Portsmouth, VA where she met her future husband, Ralph B. Williams, who preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by brothers Bobby Jones and Billie Jones.

She is survived by brother, Shelton Jones (Daphne) and sister, Vara Creech (Tom). Audrey gave up her dream of being a fashion designer in NY City to marry and raise her four sons Jerry (Velinda), Richard (Georgina), Kenny (Karen) and John (Karlene). They lived in Lakeland and then Orlando.

She met her next love, Ray Hoinacke, and they were married from 1992 until his death in 2008. They both attended First Baptist Church where Audrey was a member for 47 years. They especially enjoyed their Faith Class where they met with their many friends. Her biggest joy was taking care of her family which eventually grew to 11 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held January 12, 2013 in the Henry Chapel at First Baptist Church of Orlando, 3000 S John Young Pkwy., with visitation at 2 PM and service at 3:30 PM. Burial will be in Roanoke, VA. January 19, 2013 handled by Oakey's Funeral Home, www.oakeys.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Orlando Foundation or charity of your choice in her memory.
