Audrey Mary Roach

Audrey Mary Roach was a loving wife, a mother of five children, a grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She loved music, dancing and spending summer vacations with the family at the beach.

In 1970, Audrey began working as a secretary at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She retired in 1993 after working as a coordinator for CCD, as an assistant to four priests, and as the coordinator of the Ministry to the Sick. She also was a Commissioned Pastoral Minister for the Diocese of Orlando and was a Pastoral Care Coordinator at ORMC, MD Anderson and Arnold Palmer Hospitals where she led weekly Prayer and Communion services for both patients and staff.

As a cancer survivor herself, she loved serving those suffering from cancer and the effects of chemotherapy. She was awarded the Diocesan Coordinator of the Year for the Ministry to the Sick.

Audrey was often described by those who loved her as being: kind, loving, gentle, engaging and upbeat. She encouraged others during her time as a Facilitator for the Foundations of the Lay Ministry and helped many stay the course to complete the program.

Audrey was well loved by her family and friends and she will be missed.
