Khan, Badroodeen, also known as Tailor Khan, of Lake Mary, Florida passed away at age 82. He died peacefully on Easter Sunday March 27th after a prolonged illness and was surrounded by his loved ones. He was buried March 30th 2016.
Badroodeen was the eldest of eleven children and was born to parents Nasiban and Manjan Khan on December 6th 1933 in British Guyana (now Guyana), South America. On October 27th 1957, he married Roma Ashraf and together they had seven children. As a young man, he worked as a cane cutter and then became an established Tailor by trade in Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara. He was also a Checker at the movie theaters on the East Coast including Vijay, Tivoli and Starlite Drive-In Cinemas.
On September 18th 1977, the family of nine left Guyana and arrived in Richmond Hill, New York USA. Soon after the family arrived in America, he found employment as a CNC machinist for a precision instruments and milling company.
Later on, he relocated to Deltona, Florida to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He loved his family, classic Indian movies and songs, cricket, various television comedies and of course, his Guyanese culture. And he found great joy in being a Tailor, as he continued to use the skills of his learned trade in his later years.

Speth, Asaiah Villanueva, and Kariana Griffin. He is survived by siblings: Mymoon (Hazmat), Shealan, Sweeti (Zahora), Frank (Feroze), and Moneer (Majid) Khan; and by numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
He will be remembered as a faithful husband, loving dad, grandpa (Papa and Ajah) and great-grandpa, and as a great provider to his family. His generous nature, smile, love for his family, and kisses for his children, grand and great-grandchildren will be greatly missed. A couple of his many sayings, lessons, and blessings that he always imparted to us: "God's blessing, always" and "You have to be thankful".
We will miss hearing him say these words and miss seeing his sweet face. Dad will forever be in our hearts, we love him dearly and may Almighty God bless him eternally.
All of our love till we meet again.
