Barbara A. Yeater

Barbara Ann Yeater, 82, went to be with the Lord April 29, 2011. Born in Miami, Florida on September 30, 1928. She was a caring and gernerous woman. She lived in Orlando for over 50 years, where she retired from UCF in Admissions and raised her 2 greatest joys in life, Tedra and Scott. Barbara was a long time member of Calvary Assembly Church and a true fan of the Florida Gators. She lived her life by a golden rule taught to her by her beloved mother, "the finger of God touches your life when you make a friend." Barbara will be missed by her many friends and family.
She is survived by her loving husband Glen of 30 years, her daughter, Tedra Walden of Nashville, Tennessee, her son, Scott Walden of Winter Springs, her 4 stepsons, Tom Miller (Debi) of Orlando, Glen Yeater(David Beery)of Tampa, John Yeater (Linda) of Clermont, David Yeater (Judy) of Burnsville, NC, 10 grandchildren (Carey, Mackenzie, Vanessa, Heather, Shannon, Jared, Yvonne, Tammy, Jonathan, and Jamie) and 7 great-grandchildren (Taylor, Connor, Gavin, Lydia, Kendra, Briscoe, and Jette). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dover Shores Baptist Church on Gaston Foster or Hospice of the Comforter.
