Barbara Ann Summers
September 9, 1932 — August 22, 2014
Barbara "Babs" Ann Sonneville Summers, 81 of Deltona went to be with our LORD on August 22, 2014.
She was born on September 9, 1932 in Plainwell, Michigan. She graduated from Plainwell High School, where she was Homecoming Queen. She gave her heart and life at age 13 to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior and she lived out her faith throughout her entire life. On December 7, 1951 she married her high school sweetheart and they enjoyed more than 62 wonderful years together. She was an incredibly loving wife, mother and grandmother and she was a blessing to all those who met her. She called her family "the ultimate blessing" that the Lord had given to her and Carl and she left a legacy that few can achieve.
Babs is survived by her husband of 62+ years, Carl Vernon Summers, 6 children: Carl/Steve (Jan) Summers, Greg (Margaret) Summers, Pamala (Paul) VandeStreek, Randy Summers, Babs (Marc) Rentz, and Dan (Diana) Summers. She also has 18 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren.
She is loved by so many and will be missed by all!
