Barbara J. Davis, age 86, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born, Barbara Jeannine Dewar, in Binghamton, New York on August 8, 1937, to parents Edward and Evelyn (Carrier) Dewar.
Barbara grew up in Hunt, NY with her two brothers and parents. Her mother, Evelyn was the postmaster and father, Edward was a truck driver.
She graduated from Nunday Central HS in 1955. Barbara along with her younger brother Butch, relocated to Tulsa, OK in 1972, upon the passing of her first husband, Gerald Rawleigh .
She graduated from Surgical Technologist school and was employed by St. Francis Hospital for 20 years. In 1999, Barbara retired to Orlando, FL to be with two of her sons and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, Brett, Shane, & Cris Rawleigh, younger brother, Arnold (Butch) Dewar, five grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald (Jerry) Rawleigh & James "Jim" Edward Davis Jr.; parents and older brother, Donald Dewar.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Newcomer- Winter Park Chapel 3806 Howell Branch Rd. Winter Park, FL 32792
Interment will follow to Cape Canaveral National Cemetery- 5525 U.S. Highway 1, North Mims, FL 32754 with committal service beginning at 1:30 PM
