Barbara Ann Moorhead

Barbara A. Moorhead (Mathieson) passed on to eternal rest on August 8, 2024, at the age of 85.

She was born in Grove City, PA, on February 25, 1939, to Glenn and Viola Mathieson. Prior to 1960, Barbara worked for TWA. She moved to Orlando, FL, in the 1960s to work as a trainer of Hertz’s rental agents. In 1972, she met Seth B. Moorhead, Jr., and they married on November 11, 1974.

Barbara spent many years enjoying friends and competing in bowling leagues, golf outings, and regular bunco parties.

 She was a beloved step-mother to Seth’s three children, Seth B. Moorhead, III (wife, Elizabeth), M. Jennifer Moorhead, and Timothy R. Moorhead, Esq. (wife, Jane), and two step-grandchildren, J. Michael Moorhead and Patrick R. Moorhead. She also adored her nieces, Ashley Adams and Cindy Rutkowski, and her nephew, Ricky Mathieson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Mathieson.
