Beatrice Veronica Lewis passed away on her 96th birthday, Friday, June 28, 2024 at her home in Orlando.
She was born on June 28, 1928 in Breezy Castle, Jamaica, WI, one of five children born to her late parents, Malcolm and Amelia (Henry) Lewis.
Beatrice is survived by two brothers, Samuel Lewis, and Gladstone Lewis; her nieces and nephews, Marcia Munroe, Janet Esson, Michael Lewis, Donna German, Paula Hikel, Jennifer Lewis, Michael Lewis, Margaret Lewis, Mauranda Lewis, and Mauricia Lewis; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Maurice Lewis; a sister, Dita Lewis; and three nephews, Howard Lewis, Trevor Lewis, and Richard Lewis.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Christian Life Center, 5700 N Dean Rd, Oviedo, FL with Pastor Paul Kaufmann officiating.
Visitation is Saturday, July 13 preceding the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beatrice's memory can be made to Christian Life Center, Oviedo, FL.
Interment will follow at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park, FL.
