Benjamin Gonzalez

Benjamin Gonzalez, age 68 of Orlando, passed away on Wednesday, September 10. He was born on March 31, 1940 in Vieques, Puerto Rico to Juan Gonzalez and Antonia Figueroa. He was a retired contractor who previously served for several years as a missionary for the Pentecostal churches in the Carribean. He will be remembered as a God-fearing family man, always proud of his work, and enjoyed nature and his garden. He is survived by his wife Ana Gonzalez; his children Anna Font, Diana Jacob, Lucy Colon, Ben Gonzalez and Ricky Gonzalez; grandchildren Mari, Nathan, Nicholas, Jennifer, Jessica, Brianna, Kylie; several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and his special niece Diani. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14 from 4pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday, September 15 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando.
