Orlando – Bernice Beauford Flint, age 73, passed away peacefully after her health brought her to the end of her earthly journey.
Bernice was born the 4th proud child to Sidney and Arcie (Lyles) Beauford on January 23, 1947 (both parents deceased)in Richland Georgia, on January 23, 1947, at the time she was born she 3 older siblings Lucille (Beauford) Harris, Arcie (Beauford) Edwards, one brother Arthur J. Beauford as she grew and reached the age for elementary school, her parents blessed her with another sister Mary (Beauford) Foreman, and upon relocating to Orlando Florida she attended Callahan Elementary school, and she was blessed with two more siblings Betty J. Beauford, JoAnn Beauford Jackson, and Leon Beauford (deceased).
After completing elementary school graduating from the 6th grade, she attended Hungerford high school (Eatonville, FL) where she meet the love of her life (Johnny Flint) they married and started a family one son Wayne E. Flint, and one daughter Latony (Tangy) Flint.
Bernice was blessed by her son Wayne Flint two grandsons Tajh Flint and Tyler Fling (Jennifer), her daughter blessed her with five grand children Trakel King (Chenille) , Marcus Flint (Adrianne) , Robert Joiner (Brittany), Emani Douglas, Nakhia Acres, A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
As life continued for her she wanted more personal gratification and decided to attended Jones Business College where she obtained her Associates degree in Business Administration while raising her two children (Wayne & Latony) juggling work and home life. Bernice was a diligent and dedicated worker under the employment of Orange Memorial Hospital (Orlando Regional) for 32 years until her retirement in 2013.
Bernice was well know to her family, friends, and especially to her grandchildren as the "Chocolate Chip Cookie Queen" she love to bake and every year she was tasked to make her famous cookies at Christmas. Her life's journey was to be a great mother, grandmother, sister, Auntie, and friend.
