Our Beautiful and Loving Mother, Berniece McPherson, age 96 of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2024. Berniece was born on February 20, 1928 in Olustee, FL. She grew up in Olustee one of 8 children of the late Audley and Nella Mae St. John.
Berniece was a member of the Orlando International Worship Center. She was involved with the Women's Ministries where she shared and cherished friendships with many. You could often find her sitting in her favorite rocking chair working on crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper and her Bible.
Berniece is preceded in death by her Son, Charles "Chuck" McPherson Jr., her grandson Randall Todd McPherson, siblings A.G. St. John, Buddy St. John, Thelma Hilliard, Gladys Allen, Ray St. John, Theo St. John and Lester St.John.
Berniece is survived by daughters, Carmen McPherson and Christina King (Rick), Grandchildren, Bryan McPherson, Bradley McPherson, Robert Schafer, Bruce Schafer, Blake King and Morgan King French, Great Grandchildren, Kaylie Schafer Duncan, Bryce Shafer, Layken King, Lillian French, Tanna McPherson Shelnutt, Bentley McPherson, Great-Great Grandchildren, Emma, Wyatt and Mason Duncan.
We were Blessed with the most Loving and Gentle soul of a Mother. Though her time on this earth is over we rejoice in knowing that we will see her again.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date by the family.
