Bette J. Murphey, 74 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014.
She was born on September 5, 1939 in Newburgh, New York to Howard Frank Scott and Dorothy Louise (Knapp) Scott. Bette ran her own business as a housekeeper for many years and later as a loving homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, sewing, scrapbooking, and various other crafts. Her real love was spending time with her husband, daughter, and granddaughter.
Bette is survived by her husband, John F. Murphey; daughter, Deborah J. Sears; granddaughter, Chasity M. Sears; sisters, Dorothy Jean Morris and Barbara Wands and her brothers, Jimmy and Freddie Halcomb.
