On Wednesday, August 31, 2016 Betty Joyce Isaacs entered into an eternal resting state. She passed away at Savannah Court Memory Cottage in Oviedo as a result of Alzheimer's related causes. Betty was 77 years old.
Mrs. Isaacs was a native of Smithville Tennessee and was the oldest daughter of John Floyd Redmon and Clara Driver Redmon.
Mrs. Isaacs had many careers through her life; Teacher's Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, Social Worker, Furniture Sales. Betty was a graduate of Rollins College. Although she had many prized careers being a mother and grandmother seemed to be her favorite.
Betty is survived by her son Dan Duckworth and daughter in law Theresa Duckworth; daughter Renee Milliken and son in law Bob Milliken; sister Doris Warren; grandchildren John Duckworth, Coleen Duckworth Jones, Geoff Milliken, Christine Milliken, Alan Milliken, Rachel Milliken; and great grandson Colten Jones; and grandson in law Michael Jones.
Betty will be comforted as she is reunited with her parents, brother Horace, husband Thomas Isaacs, late son John Ross Duckworth, and many friends that have passed through the years.
Betty was a truly amazing person. She always seemed to know what people needed. She was the first to stand up and advocate for the needs of others. She will be truly missed.
