Betty Margaret Campbell, age 91 of Babson Park, Florida, passed away on May 29, 2015. She spent her final days surrounded by her family. Margaret was born May 2, 1924 to Edward and Rosa Mae (Booth) Lewis, the middle child of 7 children.
On December 19, 1943, Betty married William E. Campbell, and they were married until William's passing on August 15, 2010. Margaret worked in the Donald Duck Juice plant while her husband was fighting for his country in World War II. During the 1950s, they moved to a ranch, where Margaret became a homemaker while her husband worked the ranch. After several years, she became an assistant at a local daycare center. Her last full-time job was at Montgomery Wards, and after semi-retiring, a cashier at Publix.
Margaret was an avid church goer throughout her life. She held the Christian faith, belonging to the Pentecostal denomination.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; her family was very dear to her. She is survived by her younger siblings Ralph Lewis, Catherine Richburg, and Tommy Lewis, as well as her son Gary Campbell and daughter Betty Stuckey, and 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was also survived by her loving great granddaughter Alexis Peluso.
