BettyLou Lena Myers passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Orlando Florida.
Preceded in death by her husband Charles N. Myers, Jr, and survived by daughter and son-in-law Lena Myers & Russ Lini, sister and brother in law Connie and Jack Grigor, and grandsons Charlie and Sam Lini. Graduate of Bexley HIgh School, Columbus, Ohio 1947. BettyLou was involved in the Columbus community for many years with Columbus Women's Bar Association, Columbus Country Club, the Mother's Association for Columbus School for Girls, and the Board of Directors for Trouville East Condominiums. In 1995 she moved to Bonita Beach, Florida where she was board member of Citizen Association for Bonita Beach and the board of directors for Bermuda Cays Condominiums. Her love for the beach and the environment kept her happy in Florida. Due to health reasons, she moved to North Carolina to be near family and made many close friends there where she was president of the board for Weatherstone Condominiums. Last year she moved with her family back to her beloved Florida.
The family is celebrating her life with a private remembrance Monday, February 6th at a local beach, so in lieu of Flowers, please feel free to send donations to either The Nature Conservancy (https://support.nature.org/site/Donation2?15000.donation=form1&df_id=15000&resultid=7TV) or The American Heart Association (https://secure2.convio.net/amha/site/SPageNavigator/2017WRG.html?s_src=NAV)
