Beverly Ann Groomes-Taylor was born in New Jersey on November 28, 1949, to Albert Charles Groomes and Naomi Jane Jones. She passed on September 16, 2022 in Sanford, Florida. She was number 7 of 14 children.

She was married to John L Taylor for 41 years. Beverly graduated from Hoboken High School and studied nursing at Duke University for two years. In 1980 she started working at MCV Hospital and retired after 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Naomi Groomes; brothers and sisters, Gladys Groomes Gregory, Albert Groomes, Jr., Norman Groomes, Mary Groomes, Helen Groomes, Robert Groomes.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, husband, John L. Taylor; daughters, Dana B Groomes, Ja'Dara Groomes Alexander (Erik); special grandson, Latrell Lowe; brothers, Edward Groomes, Walter Groomes, Donald Groomes (Mickey), Kevin Groomes; sisters, Carrie Groomes, Gloria Groomes, Constance Groomes Brown (Shawn) 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25th from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer South Seminole Chapel located at 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida.
