Blanca Mirna Munoz

Blanca Mirna Munoz passed away on December 24, 2021, in Orlando, Florida at the age of 81.
Mirna, as she like to be called, was born in Miranda, Cauca, Colombia. Years later she moved to Bogotá, where she got married and had five children whom she always cared for with love, patience, and dedication.
Later in life she moved to the US, settling, and making Florida her home for over 23 years.
As a true believer in her faith and family unity, her dream of having her kids close to her was one that brought her tremendous happiness.
Mirna was always an altruistic person and was willing to help those in need. She was certified in Culinary Arts and Textile Design, trades she enjoyed doing and sharing, which also brought joy to her family and friends. She enjoyed playing board games and having family gatherings. She was an expert Sudoku and Solitaire player, loved taking care of her flowers, trees she planted at home and was always looking for ways to stay busy. She loved taking walks around the neighborhood, exercise and meditate with her family whenever there was a chance.
Her creativity and resourcefulness were her greatest legacies to her children. An important principle she taught everyone around her was respect for people and love for all living creatures.
We all love her and will miss her forever.
Mirna is survived by and remembered dearly by her children Luz Dary Paez, Guillermo Eduardo Paez, Blanca Libia Paez, Marisol Paez, and Edgar Orlando Paez; her sons-in-law Alvaro Maldonado, Juan Guillermo Martinez , and Daniel Velasco Bazan; her daughter-in-law Monica Diaz; her granddaughters Karol Andrea Paez, Catalina Maldonado, Maria Angelica Maldonado , Laura Sofia Paez, and Maya Velasco-Paez; her siblings Lily Munoz, Flavio Jose Munoz, Esperanza Munoz, Bernardita Munoz, Rubiela Munoz, and Luz Amparo Munoz; and her extended family members and friends.
Mirna's life will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM at 4301 S Chickasaw Trail, Orlando, FL 32829.
