Bobby D. Hicks, 75 of Orlando passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. He was born July 18, 1937 in Shreveport, Louisiana and moved to Central Florida in 1992. Bobby retired in 1990 as a Math Teacher from McLean High School in McLean, Virginia. He was a member of the Orlando Elks Lodge #1079, Pine Castle Moose Lodge #2345 and Eagles Aeire Lodge #3496 .
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maridena Blair Hicks in 1985 and then by his second wife, Idell Swett Hicks in 2002 and is survived by his son, Blair D. Hicks and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Belynda D. Hicks and her partner, Vicky Ames and his grandchildren, James, Katie and Ainsley Hicks.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
