Bob Scott, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. Born September 6, 1932, he was the son of the late Jim and Fonnie Scott of Canada, Kentucky. His brother, Bill Scott, of Williamson, West Virginia, also preceded him in death.
Bob worked as a manager and then as a regional director for AmeriGas until he retired. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando where he was a deacon. At the church, he was also a leader of Evangelistic Explosion and of a Life Group. Additionally, he served as a counselor and helped to bring many souls to the service of the Lord.
Survivors include his wife, Sylbia Scott, of Orlando, Florida, his son, Greg Scott, of Oakland, California, brother, Alfred Scott, of Phil Campbell, Alabama, sister-in-law, Lena Scott, of Williamson, West Virginia, sister-in-law, Betty Howell, of Corning, California and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 23rd at the Henry Chapel of the First Baptist Church in Orlando.
