Bobby Nichols

Bobby Earl Nichols, 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014.

Bobby was born on March 18, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama to James and Mildred (Nabers) Nichols who have both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Nichols. He graduated from Woodlawn High School, and Howard College with a degree in accounting. Bobby was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired in 1995 from Lockheed Martin after 37 years of service. Bobby did jail ministry for many years and always invested his time in his family, church and friends. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 49 years, LaNelle (Fairel) Nichols; daughter, Kymberly Ann Brunson and her husband, Fred; son, Rev. J. Todd Nichols and his wife, Barbara Jean; daughter, Sherri Lynne Nichols and daughter, Teresa Denise Long and her husband, Rev. David Long; brother, Cecil Kirby Nichols; grandchildren, Gregory Michael Brunson, Stephanie Michelle Brunson, Ashley Nicole Nichols, Austin Tyler Nichols, Abigail Grace Nichols, Anna Kristen Nichols, Katie Michele Long and Jonathon David Long; great-grandchildren Kendall Sage Brunson and Harper Grace Brunson.
