Bonnie Jean Collier, age 78, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Bonnie was born on April 25, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents, George & Ethel Stahnke, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Collier, Jr., her 2 children, Daniel Small & Sandra Small, sisters, Amy (David) Barber & Dixie (John) Flamm as well as nieces & nephews, Shannon (John) Barber Meyer, Justin Barber, Michael (Jen) Barber, Christopher (Jennifer) Barber. Great nieces & great nephews, Sova & Etta Meyer, Tobey Barber, Cameron Barber, & Ethan & Eva Barber. Cousins, Kathy (John) Novotny, & Frank, Jr. & Joe Cernik.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George M. Stahnke, Jr. & Ethel C. Stahnke, sister& best friend, Cindy Grossman, & cousin, Diane Wettstaedt.
Bonnie grew up in La Grange, Illinois & was a proud graduate of Lyons Township High School & attended LT junior college.
She was an accountant at Shorr Paper Products in Aurora, IL, & also worked at Attorneys Title Co. in Orlando, FL, Olan Mills, Sears, & Prudential Insurance.
Bonnie was Past Honored Queen of Bethel #63, La Grange of the International Order of Jobs Daughters.
Bonnie loved her family dearly & enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved her many dogs over the years, Saturday, Mandy, Sprite, Pixie, Penny, Georgie, & lastly lil' Frankie who will greatly miss her.
Bonnie was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears & the Chicago Cubs, & loved hot air balloons, casinos, & rooting for her favorite American Idol.
Bonnie was a true people person, & no one was a stranger for long. Her smile & laugh would light up a room. She was sweet, kind, & generous to a fault.
Bonnie is so loved & will be greatly missed.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to; The ASPCA or to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
