Boyd Beauford Bolick, 81 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014.
Boyd was born on December 26, 1932 in Brookford, North Carolina to Rufus and Mary (McNeely) Bolick. In 1996, he retired from the United States Postal Service after more than 30 years of service. Boyd was a basketball player in high school and then later a little league baseball coach. He enjoyed watching college football, westerns and comedy television, especially the Andy Griffith Show. In his younger years, he enjoyed taking his wife, Donna out dancing, and playing with his own children and neighborhood children. He also enjoyed playing board games with his family. Boyd will be remembered as someone always willing to help people and for having a wonderful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by many.
Boyd is survived by his wife Donna (Lackey) Bolick; son, Everette B. Bolick, daughter, Carol A. Butler, son, Glenn W. Bolick, brother, Kenneth D. Bolick, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
