Brandy Lynn Sweeney, age 41, of Orlando, Florida tragically passed away due to an automobile accident on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Orlando.
Brandy was born on January 14, 1978 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter of the late Larry Jackson and Cathy Lynn Sweeney.
Brandy was a loving mother of six and a grandmother of two. She attended Lyman High School, continuing her education at Daytona Beach Community College. Over the years, she had long careers with Lockheed Martin and many other administrative positions within the Central Florida region. One thing people may or may not know is Brandy was a "Barbie Princess." She had to be flawless with make-up, lace, and pearls before her outfit was complete. Even if you were her date or best friend, you would be sure to wait up to two hours for her to get completely ready!
Brandy had a bubbly spirit and loved to be young and free. She loved her children unconditionally and would "destroy" anyone that tried to intimidate them in any facet. Brandy was the life of the party, whether it was with her kids, family, or friends. She was a daredevil that would tell you, "Yes, I have to play with fire until I get burned." (This is the Larry Jackson side of her)
Brandy was a big believer in God and her Faith was what she inspired people with. Daily, Brandy had an important message from God for her four oldest nephews, Travis, Jovian, Xavier, and Aiden - That they needed to always respect, obey, and listen to their parents as your days could be cut short.
Brandy was a jack of all trades, thanks to our father, Larry Jackson. Brandy became her own mechanic, an electrician from acquiring skills courtesy of her brother, Lawrence Sweeney, and a concrete finisher, learning from the best, Cecil Clark.
Brandy was self-sufficient, very independent, and highly motivated while holding her own if the challenge presented itself. Many didn't know Brandy loved the world of art, she drew and painted amazing pictures. Brandy was known for her rosy cheeks, her big hazel eyes, and super flirtatious behavior (she meant no harm, it was just natural). The neighborhood kids called Brandy "Miss B" on the basketball courts in Ocala as she backed down the boys with her infamous rump roast (lol). They also called her "Auntie Brandy" when she was spreading the word of God to them in the most passionate way.
She will be truly missed and was loved by many. Let's always keep her in our hearts, the charisma she displayed no matter the circumstances. Her charming and witty behavior was powerful, and her presence brightened the room; with this we will never say good-bye, we'll just say see you later. Whenever you are down, remember how she lived and celebrate her life by smiling through the tears, laughing through the pain, and knowing she's with her Creator and has gained her wings.
Brandy is survived by three sons, Brandon Myles Jackson, Lang Leahmon, III, and Isaiah Leahmon; her three daughters, Lexus Carwise, Layla Leahmon, and Brooke Adikson; two grandchildren, Andrew Carwise, and Logan Otero; her three sisters, Savonnia Sweeney (John), Shurerhonda Sweeney-Ligon (Dexter), and Olivia Sweeney; her brothers, Lawrence Sweeney, Larry Jackson, Jr, and Chris Caldwell; her thirteen nieces; and twelve nephews.
