Sommer, Brenda Lou, of Orlando Florida passed away on Friday January 1, 2021 at the age of 76. Brenda was born to parents Perry and Esther Nelson on July 29th, 1944 in Muskegon, Michigan.
She was the youngest child and had one sister Ila Collins and two brothers Lowell and Buddy Nelson.
She graduated high school from Cedar Lake Academy in May of 1962 which is located in Cedar Lake Michigan. In 1967 she graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelor's of Music Education. She also received a diploma to become a dietetic technician.
Brenda spent many years working in various positions at Florida Hospital South now known as Advent Health Orlando.
She was a charter member of the University Seventh-day Adventist Church in Orlando Florida. She served there as an organist and pianist. She was also in the choir.
In May 24, 1970 she married Ralph A Sommer. She had two children Jonathan and David Sommer.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Ralph A. Sommer, mother, Esther Nelson, father, Perry Nelson, brother, Buddy Nelson, and brother, Lowell Nelson.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Sommer, son, David Sommer, grandchild Dison Sommer, grandchild Ryla Sommer, grandchild Nathanael Sommer, grandchild Abrielle Sommer, and sister, Ila collins.
Brenda is now resting in Jesus. Waiting for His soon return so that when He comes He will raise her up again to see everyone on that Resurrection day.
Memorial service is Sunday January 10th, 2021 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the University Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Orlando Florida.
