Brian David Young
May 14, 1937 - March 4, 2017
Brian passed away early Saturday morning, March 4, 2017 after a long battle with health issues. He was survived by his wife Linda (Craddock Outlaw) Young, sons, Steven David Young, Keith Michael Young and Edward Cobb Outlaw and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Edna Beryl (Butt) Young and Sidney Leeming Young.
Brian was born in London, England on May 14, 1937 and migrated to the United States in his early 20's with his mother and dad, on the Queen Elizabeth, landing in New York City. He soon moved to Orlando, Florida where he remained all his days. He was an office manager and manager for T.G. Lee Credit Union. At a later time he was in sales for an aerial advertising company that flew banners over major events- like large sporting events, across the United States. A local example would be the annual 4th of July fireworks in Altamonte Springs, Orlando and surrounding areas. Brian also served in The Royal Army.
He was culturally inclined at an early age with a love of soccer, music, dancing, plays and concerts. Plus, his faith and family kept his life fulfilled- He was a man for all seasons. (Ecclesiastes 3; 1-8)
He showed respect, patience, and integrity to all who knew him. People have said he was always so happy, so pleasant, with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He never complained.
Brian is now enjoying his time with the Lord doing the things he loves most and continuing on his journey. We will all miss him but will see him in the future.
In lieu of flowers, contributions be made in memory of Brian to the Community United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries.
