Bryan Keith was the first born child of Herbert James and Cynthia Marvell (Latham) Fischer born at St. David's Hospital in Austin, TX. He was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Herbert J. Fischer (2003) (2006), grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herbert John (1982) (1980), Mr. and Mrs. James Marvin Latham (1966) (2004) and his younger brother, James Michael "Micky" Fischer (2012).

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna; son, Matthew Christopher; son, James Andrew; Shannon Noelle Fitzpatrick, mother to granddaughter, Aubree Leighanne; brother, Joseph Mark and sister, Vivian Ann.

Bryan at the age of 18 years old enlisted in the Marine Corp and began a career in military police. He left the military for a short period of time and then re-enlisted in the Navy where he finished a 20 year service as a handler and trainer in the military working dog program. He trained and handled various dogs during his career across the country from South Carolina, Washington, Hawaii, Florida, and Virginia in addition to international areas such as Saudi Arabia and EAU. He received multiple awards during his service to include: Sailor of the quarter in 1987 and 1994; and Sailor of the Year for Naval Submarine Base Bangor in 1987; and as a handler he and his dog "Sam" were given "Best Small Breed Team Pacific Fleet" for 1987.

Bryan finished out his career after the military working private security contracting with companies like Securitas and the Orlando Regional Airport.

Bryan loved the water and was an avid water skier. He learned to bare foot and could be seen daily gliding across the glassy waters behind his master craft boat with his wife, Donna, driving.

He will be interred with Military Honors at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on January 19, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Donations in Bryan's Honor, if desired, may be given to Advent Health Children's hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
