Calvin Lavon Jones, age 85, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Robert and Eunice Jones; son, Calvin L. Jones, Jr.; brother, Robert Jones; granddaughters, Amy Leonard and Alaina Leonard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma; son, Gary M. Jones and wife Mary Ann; grandsons, Christopher Jones and Alex Leonard; granddaughter, Christina Smith (Wally); great-grandchildren, Zachary Smith and Jacob Smith; and great-great grandchild, Jaxon Jones.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Services are Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel), 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822. Interment to follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
