Camille Horvath, age 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Bridge Hospice Center. She was the loving and sweet mother of Gigi Stephanie Puglisi and Rebecca Ann Pantoja.
Camille was born on January 23, 1942 in New York City, New York to the late Rafael and Anna Flores. In October of 1970, she married the love of her life, James Horvath. She first had a career with General Electric and before retiring, Camille worked in the Orange County Public School System.
Camille had unwavering faith in Jesus, and loyalty and love for her two daughters, her son-in-law and her family. She lost the love of her life, James on January 22, 2015 and missed him dearly every day thereafter. She also lost a beloved son-in-law, Raul Pantoja too early. Camille loved her dog, Dax and lovingly referred to her as Daxidoodle. She liked to watch the Hallmark Channel, Murder She Wrote and the Food Network and reading the paper was a favorite past time. Grilling with her daughter, Gigi, her son-in-law, Vinnie, Dax and their six pugs was relaxing for her and she loved sitting under the large oak trees.
Camille is survived by her daughters, Gigi Puglisi and Rebecca Pantoja; son-in-law, Vinnie Puglisi; sister, Gloria (Joe) Mercado; brothers, Saul Flores, Peter (Shirley) Flores and Ben (Pam) Flores; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Horvath Jackson & 7 pets/grandchildren, Lt. Commander Dax, Henry, Lola, George, Louie, Dusty and Buffy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. Camille loved lilies, orchids and pink roses.
