Carlos Alberto Montanez Gueits, age 62, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at AdventHealth East Hospital.
He was born on April 25, 1961 in Santurce, PR, son to his late mother, Aracelis Gueits. Carlos was an honorable member of the United States Navy. His tour of service took him through Operation Desert Storm in Iraq and all throughout Europe post-conflict.
He was a nursing supervisor for Orlando Health. Forever a student and passionate about medicine, he was currently studying for his doctorate degree.
Carlos is survived by his brother, Victor Arizmendi and his wife, Kimberly, of Bossier, LA; his sister, Brenda Arizmendi of Orlando; two nephews, Alberto Arizmendi and his wife, Carla, and Victor Arizmendi, Jr. and his wife, Nicole; two nieces, Karla McCoy and her husband, Tony, and Frances Pabon and her husband, Joaquin; three great-nephews, Zues Arizmendi, Joshua, and Noah Arizmendi; two great-nieces, Audrey McCoy and Eliza McCoy; and his lifelong best friend, Debra Martin.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
The service will be available via livestream by clicking here and will be viewable for up to 90 days after the service.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
