Carmelo Martinez, age 63 of Seffner, FL, formerly of Orlando, passed away Friday, September 9. He was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico on August 14, 1947 to Juan B. Martinez and Juana Gonzalez. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Carmelo Martinez. He is survived by his wife Maria Martinez; son, Juan Martinez; daughter, Cindy Martinez; sisters, Gladys Martinez, Ana Lusia Yim, and Adalina Martinez. Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM Thursday, September 16 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, September 17 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando.
