With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Carmen Zoraida Camacho, who departed from this world on March 15, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was 85 years old.
Born on December 20, 1938, in Coamo Puerto Rico, graced the world with her presence and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and unwavering love, touching the lives of countless individuals with her gentle spirit and infectious warmth.
Throughout her life, Carmen embodied resilience and grace in the face of adversity, demonstrating unparalleled strength and courage. Her unwavering determination and boundless optimism inspired all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
As a devoted mother, Carmen poured her heart and soul into nurturing her family, instilling values of integrity, empathy, and perseverance in her children. Her love knew no bounds, and she selflessly devoted herself to ensuring the happiness and well-being of her loved ones.
In addition to her role as a loving mother, Carmen was a cherished friend, confidante, and mentor to many. Her wise counsel, comforting presence, and infectious laughter brought light into the lives of those around her, creating cherished memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
Carmen Zoraida Camacho was preceded in death by her mother, siblings Carmen Rivera, Glady Velez, Jose Ramos, Aida Cardona, Moe Rodriguez, Arion Ivan Ramos, and her daughter Linda Moumen.
She is survived by her sons, Peter Cabrera, Anthony Russo, Francisco Camacho Jr., 7 grandchildren: 6 great-grandchildren.
Though Carmen may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her love and kindness. May she find eternal peace and rest in the embrace of the angels, knowing that her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she left behind.
