Carmen G. Mendez, age 46, of Orlando, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born in Miami, Florida on April 9, 1965 to Rodolfo Mayol and Marta Plasencia Mayol.
She was a System Redesign Coordinator for the Orlando VA Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Andres "Andy" Mendez; children, Manuel A. Mendez and Gloria A. Mendez; parents, Rodolfo and Marta Mayorl.
Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM, Monday, March 26 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. The funeral mass time is pending. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation at www.arthritisfoundation.org/florida or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/involved/donate/donateonlinenow/index
