Carmen Adeva-Pineda age 76, of Orlando, Florida passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013.
Carmen (aka. Millet) was born July 15, 1937, in Manila Philippines. She graduated Valedictorian in grade school at Concordia College and magna cum laude from the Lyceum of the Philippines in Foreign Service and Cum laude in Political Science. She worked at National Science Development Board (NSDB) for 15 years. Her passion was singing and dancing. She also enjoyed playing table tennis during her Manila days. She was an active member of their NSDB choir sharing her beautiful soprano voice.
She moved to New York in 1979 and enjoyed her many years with her dogs she considered her daughters as well named Boom Boom, Gypsy and Ginger.
She relocated to Central Florida in 2012 and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Winter Park.
She is survived by daughter, Wendy Pineda- Perry and husband Arthur Perry; her sons, Ruben A. Pineda and Rommel Pineda and his wife, Gina and granddaughters, Nicole and Rachel Pineda; sisters: Marita Kabigting and Chit Acayan and their families; Carmen's former husband, Ruben V. Pineda and her sister in-law, Toni Gabucan and their families.
