Carmen Ruiz, age 90 of Maitland, passed away August 26, 2009. She was born to Pedro Del Pilar and Hipolita Ruiz in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on May 19, 1919. She is survived by her children, Andres Muñoz Ruiz, Dayse Muñonz and Manuel Alexis Thompson Ruiz; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1PM-9PM Saturday, August 29 at Newcomer Funeral Home.
