Carmen Julia Vazquez of Orlando, FL was a strong woman of Faith who went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2019 at the age of 93.
Carmen was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on April 9, 1926 to Concepcion Viruet Rivera and Jose Datil. She had 2 siblings Roberto and Luis, both predeceased. Carmen moved to NYC where she met and married her husband Luis Raul Vazquez.
Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Luis and two children Ernestine and David and two grandchildren Alesha and Jessica. She is survived by four children Luis Jr., Frances, Dorothy and Moises, 11 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and 4 great, great-grandchildren.
Carmen dedicated her life to God, her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, singing hymns and faithfully serving in prayer ministry at the church. She leaves behind a strong legacy filled with faith, love and devotion to God and family.
Services and Viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod St., Orlando Fl 32822 on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Burial services at Newcomer at 11 a.m. Internment following at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Rd., Orlando, FL 32817.
