Carol Ruth Cerar, age 51, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Avante of Orlando in Orlando.
Carol was born on July 15, 1970 in Galion, OH, daughter to her late parents Robert Earl and Carol Irene (Force) Cerar. Starting in 2006, Carol started volunteering at Northland Church in Longwood. She was an active member of Altamonte Community for the Disabled. She kept active through them with her favorite activities being square dancing, bowling, and ballroom dancing. Carol did not let her disability hinder her personality. She was an extremely outgoing, generous, kind, and loving individual. Her warmth was able to win just about anybody over.
Carol is survived by her sister, Janet Louise Cerar of Altamonte Springs, FL; brother, David P. Cerar of Nairobi, Kenya; brother, Jim S. Cerar and his wife, Sue, of Apopka, FL; sister, Mary F. Webster and her husband, John, of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Susan K. Bean and her husband, Rob, of Galion, OH; brother, Tim Cerar of Altamonte Springs; and her sister-in-law, Julie Cerar of Galion, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Robert Frank Cerar.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, FL with Pastor Gus Davis officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
