Carol Jean Stewart, 64 of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at her Residence. She was born on July 03, 1948 in Miami, Florida to Joseph Stewart and Mildred Halin-Stewart.
Carol was a graduate of the class of 1967 at Colonial High School. She was a two tour Army veteran during the Vietnam era working in various Community Centers around the country. She left the Army as a Sergeant.
After that she was a Communication Center operator for several Contractors working on missal tracking shops such as the Vanderburg, Redstone, Arnold, and Observation Island. She also worked at Ascension Island in South Atlantic. She ended her working career working at Orange County Corrections.
She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Carol is survived by her two Sisters, Martha Kilmer of Orlando and Ruth Belcher of Homasassa; and Partner, Jay Grimes of Orlando, two Nieces, Andrea Trembly and her husband Paul-Sorrento and Leah Fox and her son Gabe of Huntsville, Alabama, nephew Mike Belcher and his son Gavin and daughter Zoey of Weikiva Falls.
A memorial service for Carol Jean Stewart will be held 3:00PM on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1501 North Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Florida 32828.
