Carol Bolling Thompson

Carol Bolling Thompson, age 67, of Orlando, FL passed away March 25, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence Thompson; and her father, Richard Onex Bolling.

She is survived by her mother, Helen B. Bolling; sister, Anne D. Bolling; brother, Richard B. Bolling; step-daughters, Lauri Sullivan and Cheryl McNeill; 3 step-grandchildren; and 4 nieces and nephews.

Carol formerly served as Assistant Principal at Corner Lake Middle School, Liberty Middle School, and Legacy Middle School in Orlando. She was a graduate of Radford University, and earned her master's degree in education from the University of Virginia. Carol was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma (the International Society for Key Women Educators), the American Association of University Women, and the MI Hummel Club.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Mary Leubscher, Marianne Morin, and Vicki Patrick for all the friendship, help, and support they provided Carol.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions in Carol's memory may consider the Make-a-Wish Foundation or the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.

Visitation is Tuesday March 28, 2017 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
