Carol L. Woods was born on January 8, 1947 to the late Arthur and Thelma Woods in Brooklyn, New York.
Carol was a dedicated worker for United Airlines for 39 years and was the first female African American service representative for United Airlines.
She retired in 2009.
Carol was a lively warm and funny person. She had a unique laugh and was a master at murdering the English language.
Carol also was a loyal member of the Red Hat Society.
Carol's life and legacy are celebrated and remembered by her loving family.
She leaves cherished memories to her loving son, Sean Woods Alleyne. Her grandson, Khiry Coleman and her loving and dedicated friends, Bob Craig, Emma Kingsland and Jean B. Willis; Godsons, George Newman and Zion Mincey, along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation is Friday, April 28, 2017, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel), 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
