Carolyn Franklin

Franklin (nee Humphries), Carolyn, 80, of Osteen, Florida, was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, September 1st. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother. She was an adopted mother to many.

Carolyn was born to Kenneth and Sarah Humphries, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina in 1940. She later met and married Claude Franklin in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1959. They had 3 children together.

Carolyn worked 20 + years at Rich Plan United as a Meat Wrapper in Sanford, FL. She also later worked as a Wal-Mart associate for 15 years. She was a hard worker in her jobs and a devoted mother to her husband and children.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers John, William (Albert), Robert Lee Humphries and sister Barbara Jean Parisher, husband Claude, son Sheldon, grandsons Brett Baxter and Charles Bowen.

She is survived by Keith Franklin of Palm Bay, FL (Tiana), Sonya Peters of Osteen, FL (Jim), (Sheldon's spouse) Dell of Brunswick GA, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed by many.
