Catherine "Katie" Orvieto Thomas, was born in New York, New York on June 7, 1922. She passed away on July 19, 2015.
She was the oldest of 4 children and 1st generation American. Catherine worked as a seamstress until meeting her Husband Thomas J. Thomas and marrying May 24, 1945. From there, they moved to Brooklyn. She had four sons, Gregory, Joseph, John and Michael.
Catherine enjoyed her family, playing Bingo, cooking and entertaining. She was famous for her Christmas Eve dinners. She survived her husband after 55 years of marriage who passed on May 10, 2000.
She enjoyed the last 12 years with her family, visits from her Sister Mary, Diedre and Paulette of Albany and especially her grandchildren Nicolas and Fiona.
