Cathy Ann Shriner of Orlando passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Corning, N.Y. , the daughter of Arthur and Gladys Shriner and moved to Central Florida in 1969. Cathy worked as a Quality Control Technician for SMP Electronics and was of the Presbyterian Faith. Cathy was an avid sports car lover and Miami Dolphins fan.
Cathy is survived by her life partner of 24 years Pat Lawrenson and her family of Orlando; and her close cousins and longtime friends who she all loved dearly.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2009 in the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714
