Mary Cathryn Watkins, 61 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was born on February 9, 1951 in Panama City, Florida (Eglin Air Force Base) to George Lowell Shock and Anne Mary Elizabeth Tristram Shock and grew up in Central Florida. Cathy was a retired Histotechnologist. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren more than anything and especially enjoyed the family time on the the new pontoon boat.
She is survived by her daughters, Janette Watkins and Julie Watkins Shaw and her husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Bryan M. Shaw, Amber J. Shaw and Ashlee E. Shaw; sisters, Lois Anne Osborne and Karen Elizabeth Heinly and her husband Bruce; brother, George Lowell Shock, Jr and his wife Diane.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested a memorial gift to the American Kidney Fund. www.kidneyfund.org Thanks to the Kindey Fund Cathy, as well of thousands of others have not paid for dialysis cost above insurance coverage.
