Mr. Cecil Nathaniel Dotson, 70 of Orlando passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010.
He was born in Ft. Meade, Florida and was of the Protestant Faith. Cecil was retired from the Construction field.He was a resident of Avante Nursing Home and had many illnesses, including brain damage, throughout his life.
Cecil had a sense of humor, was a story teller and kept the residents captured in his stories.
Cecil's wife Rose was killed in an auto accident many years ago.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice Plunkett and her husband Steve of Fort Myers, Fl and Barbara Padgett of Orlando; sister, Aunita Padgett and brother-in-law Dickof Orlando; 3 grandchildren, RJ White, Crystal White, and Vanessa White; 1 great-granddaughter; nephews, Alan and Mike and their families.
There will be a memorial service in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2010.
