Charles William Hurd, 47, of Winter Park, FL, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2023.
He was born on March 9, 1976 in Orlando, FL to Lana (Barrow) Lang and Tony Hurd. He was a construction worker, jack of all trades and master of them all. He was an avid fisherman who loved being on the river, going to the lake, and definitely loved his home - the ocean. He mostly loved and lived for his boys, Justin, Jacob, and Mason. He was a sixth generation member of pioneer family, Rouse. He has a personality like no other, and would give you the shirt off his back, if he had one on.
Charles touched so many people. He was an amazing man and will be missed by many. Without him here, our lives will never be the same. We will just hold on to the memories that we have made until we see you again!
Charles Hurd was preceded in death by his father, Tony Hurd. He is survived by his mother, Lana Lang; stepfather, JM (Frenchie) Morland; brothers, Anthony Hurd, Chad Younggreen, and Alex Morland; sisters, Amanda Kozinczak and Mandy Morland; ex-wife, Tracy Hurd; Mason's mother, Jasmine Beard; in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins, and true friends.
A celebration of life will be held on January 20, 2024 at FOE Eagles, 1900 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Services will be at 12:30 pm with food and celebration to follow.
