Charles Fred Sackllah, 64, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. He was the son of Fred Essa Sackllah and Rose Mousa Sackllah. Charles was born in Garden City, Michigan and lived there for over 20 years. He married Nabila Sackllah in Lexington, Kentucky in September of 1978. They moved to Florida in the 80's and started their family. Charles is survived by his wife and children, Fred (Chasity) Sackllah, Andrew (Rachel) Sackllah and Stephanie Sackllah, along with his six grandchildren – Brianna, Kayla, Charlie, Jasmine, Laila and Dalia.
He is also survived by his two brothers, two sisters, and one aunt in Michigan - Essam Sackllah, Issa (Norma) Sackllah, Susan Zayed, Diane (Henry) Sakhleh, and Hanna Essa, and many nieces and nephews.
Charles loved his time as a chef at the happiest place on earth, Disney World, for 19 years. Charles would consider himself a workaholic as he was constantly working two jobs to support his family. Unfortunately, he had to retire early due to illness. After being given a new kidney, he was a new man, spreading love and kindness to others while he worked as an Uber driver. Charles was the most loving, kind, funny, and even sarcastic man that could always bring light to any situation.
Charles was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando. He was a man of prayer, and an immensely dedicated grandfather, father, and husband. Charles loved to watch sports in his spare time and playing every game with his grandkids.
Charles will be missed but never forgotten. May his memory be eternal.
