Charles Joseph Smith

Charles J Smith, aka "Chuck" to his friends, of Casselberry, Florida passed away with his family by his side on March 14, 2025. Chuck was a young 53 years old. He is survived by wife Diana, son Chas and brother Anthony.

Chuck was born May 22, 1971 in Fort Pierce, Florida to his late parents Ilsa and Charles Smith. While there he attended John Carroll High School and Indian River Community College. In 1994 Chuck moved to Orlando, Florida to continue his studies at UCF where he graduated with a degree in management information systems. During his time at college he met Diana at Shells Seafood where they both worked waiting tables. He had a successful career as an IT administrator working at UCF, AT&T, NetScout and Disney and was currently employed at Leidos Inc. Chuck got married to Diana in 2000 and they were blessed with son Chas in 2009.

Chuck enjoyed cars, mustangs in particular, soccer, new technology and dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and relaxing with his two dogs Lexi and Junior. Chuck enjoyed taking and watching his son Chas play baseball and soccer. A proud soccer dad he traveled all over Florida and out of state for Chas's soccer games.

Visitation is Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 12:00 pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church Chapel, 526 N. Park Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789.

Light refreshments will be served at the church before the proceeding to the burial which will take place at 2:30 PM at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792.
