JUNG, CHARLOTTE, nee LOS, WLADYSLAWA. Loving wife and caring mother passed away on Wednesday, March 25th 2020. Born on July 31st, 1933, in Karczemka, Poland, to mother Antonina and father Wladyslaw, who passed away in her early years. Post WWII she traveled to the USA, where she made her home in Buffalo, NY, with her mother Antonina, stepfather Mieczyslaw, and sister Ramona. There she met her husband, Sigmund, whom she married at St Stanislaus Catholic Church. Together they raised 3 children, eventually settling in Cheektowaga, NY.
Charlotte was very intelligent and charming. During WW II, she was a teacher in the German Bergen-Belsen Labor Camp and once in the USA, studied and worked as a computer programmer. Undaunted by challenges, she was politically active and community minded, organizing and leading the girl scout troop for St. Luke parish. An avid and gifted gardener, her yard was filled with an assortment of beautiful flowers. Loving and caring, she made friends easily, and enjoyed getting everyone together—the 4th of July and Christmas were just a few of the special times.
In her senior years, she and Sigmund, retired in Florida. Sigmund passed away in 2010; Charlotte then moved to Debary where she passed. Charlotte is survived by her three children: Richard G. Jung, Sr (Rita), Monica Pietzyk (Joseph) and Margaret LaBerta (Anthony); 7 grandchildren: Richard Jr, Alexis, Stephen, Jessica, James, Leia and Anthony Jr.; and 10 great-grandchildren: Serena, Rhylee, Eleanor, Jacob, Savannah, Sofia, Charlotte, Alexandra, Logan and Arianna. She leaves behind her beloved sister Ramona, along with numerous nieces and nephews in The USA and Australia. Funeral Services will be held, at Greenwood cemetery, Orlando, FL, on a date yet to be determined.
