In Loving Memory of Chester ("Chet") Ray Peeler
1949 - 2022
Chester ("Chet") Peeler, 72, of Orlando Florida, passed into God's care on January 13, 2022, after a short illness. Chester was born in Orlando, Florida, on October 29, 1949, to Robert and Thelma Peeler, who has preceded him in death.
Chet was a army Vietnam veteran, who was an awesome Handyman and Wood working craftsman. He was a truck driver for most of his career, and retired from the City of Orlando.
He always enjoyed watching movies, especially B rated scary movies, and eating Diana's cooking. He was a cat lover and could not resist caring for and taking in strays. Chet also enjoyed fishing.
Chet will be greatly missed on this earth, but his loved ones know that he has been born again, and know they will meet him again one day.
Chet leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Diana. Other survivors include a daughter, Christina (Chrissie) Balderson, her husband Steven, and grandson, Evan. Chet also leaves behind a granddaughter, Jessica Cowles, her husband, Ryan, and two great grand-sons, Jackson and Hudson. Chet also had two stepsons, Daniel Elsberry and Scott Elsberry and his wife, Belinda.
He has a surviving sister, Betty Gibson. All of his friends and family knew him as Chet.
A private service will he held.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
